I think the emotion, the fur detail, and the pose are magnificent. I would red line for you, but I am not the greatest at.. However, I will tell you what I would fix if I could. For one thing, the left hind leg, while it is in the right place, should be bent a bit more at the ankle joint. Although it is facing the viewer, it should be bent a bit. Also, with the head size, I would enlarge the tail a bit, to even it out. Not too much, just a little.
Over all, an amazing piece, amazing emotion, amazing pose, and great fur detail, and I look forward to the finish
The legs are pretty small compared to the head and body. My art sometimes messes up like that too though and I can't really fix it anymore. This isn't noticeable so you are great overall. Amazing!
Front legs. They should be thicker. You can actually see muscle on k9s just like people, the arms should not be too "boxy." and it adds a little more believability. You also can notice the shoulder on event the long hair breeds. [link][link]shoulders should be a shade less on the last reff
Since this is just a sketch I'll just write a ghetto-crit x3
First off LOVE that face, the structure is excellent, especially the muzzle. I feel like the ears should be brought up a bit higher and more erect; they're sort of tilting to the side which is more of a laid-back pose, an angry, assertive wolf will have them pricked forward as far as he can get them to make himself look bigger. On that note you may want to have his neck and hackles spiking up a bit, sort of add to the aggressive vibe.
The head looks a bit big for the body, I think it could be scaled down and that would help with the big-dog looking anatomy of wolves. The legs and paws look fine to me, but your balance seems a little wobbly. I'd bring in his right foreleg closer to his body so he doesn't seem so stretched, also add a little muscle/fur mass around the left's elbow area. The back legs just seem a bit misplaced to me... you know what let me just make a quick redline since I'm terrible at explaining x3
Honestly I think once you do a bit of tweaking this will be a great sketch, that is honestly one of the best snarling faces I've seen in a while. Good luck with it!
fff im not gonna put a big critque but i think this is epic win the only thing thats wroung is that the head is to wide and the paws are to small. and maybe the shoulder on the arm? but other then that i really like this <3
